PAINDANE SIESTA

Biography

Paindane Siesta is situated approximately 485 km north of Maputo and just 24 km south of Inhambane. The privately owned houses are built on a dune overlooking the Paindane reef, miles of sun kissed beaches and plantations of coconut palms. Paindane beach can be accessed by 4 x 4 vehicles only. Your 4 x 4 can be parked on the beach while you enjoy the day swimming in the bay or reading your favourite book. Take a cooler box, braai and gazebo and settle on the beach, the perfect spot to spend your sunny days while on holiday at Siesta. Paindane reef is perfect for snorkelling and there is a dive charter available for incredible diving experiences. The deep sea fishing is also excellent. Supplies including fresh fruit and veg, fresh bread, meat, tinned and bot-tled food stuff, toiletries and house hold cleaning items, cold drinks and alcohol are available at Taurus, a small supermarket approximately 3 km from Siesta. There are restaurants and bars along the coast where you can enjoy a cocktail and prawns while relaxing to the sight and sound of breaking waves.

Accomodation

The houses are self-catering, well equipped and each house will be serviced daily by the house’s trusty and friendly “house boy”. The houses are available to rent from R1500.00 to R3000.00 per day, depending on the house and season. Check in from 1 pm and check out by 10 am.
